• Lincoln Continental 1988 to 1994 Air Suspension: The 1988-1994 Lincoln Continental Air Strut assembly utilizes a Suspension Air Spring Bag fitted over the Strut in order to give the vehicle a comfortable ride. When the weight load chances the Suspension Height Sensors lets the system know that it needs more air in the Air Spring Bag Strut Assembly in order to keep the Lincoln Continental leveled. • Lincoln Continental 1995 to 2002 Air Suspension: The 1995-2002 Lincoln Continental has a pressurized Air Suspension System. Two Rear Air Spring Bags at the rear with Suspension Solenoids connected on the top mount allow the air flow into the Suspension Air Spring Bag. An onboard Air Suspension Compressor pumps up the Air Spring Bags when there is a change in the ride level. The 1995-1996 Lincoln Continental had Air Struts in the front of the vehicle however later editions from 1997 to 2002 came equiped with Coil Over Struts.
