Hello, Yes this is the correct conversion for your 08 Denali AWD, the part number 151G-12-4-ASSY will be a standard rear gas shock as where the 151G-30-4-ASSY will have a set of rear gas shocks with a helper spring to help support a little of the vehicles weight especially if you do any towing the helper spring will help to ensure the rear wont sag with any added weight Thank you
