Will these replacement shocks leave the my 04 Escalade at it's original height?
Hello, we are happy to help! Our conversion shocks are designed to keep your vehicle at factory height. These shocks will bolt in the same and get you out of electronics while maintaining the correct ride height. Let us know if you have any further questions. -Stephanie
Do these shocks eliminate the air pump?
Hello, we are glad to help you with this. These passive air shocks do not eliminate your compressor, however you can manually fill these passive air shocks and avoid hooking them up to your compressor. These shocks will stay at whatever ride height you manually fill them too; they are a common conversion for GM vehicles. Please let us know if you have any further questions. -Stephanie
I have an 02 suburban with the Autoride suspension. I want to eliminate the compressor which just runs on and on. Will this kit bypass the compressor and bypass any computer eroors
Hi Paul, we are glad to help! This kit will actually keep air suspension on your vehicle, however you can manually fill your shocks versus hooking them up to a compressor. If you would like to get out of air suspension as well, I'd recommend part number 150G-30-R-RES. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
does this part fit the esv model? my vin# requires Z55 suspension.
Hi Christin, These parts will work for your vehicle, however they are a conversion out of electronic suspension. If you'd like direct replacements the part you are looking for is 109G-13-R-PAIR priced at $365. If you have additional questions let us know. -Stephanie
how would i know if its the shocks that need to be replace, is there a specific noise that the truck would make
Hi Santos, There will not necessarily be a noise, most times your vehicle will sit low or hit bottom over speed bumps. Type in your year/make/model and all compatible parts will pop up. Please note you are looking at conversion, these parts are non-electronic. We include a bypass tool as well to avoid a dash light. If you have further questions please let us know, have a good day. -Stephanie
I have 2002 yukon xl with rpo zw7. Can I use the z55 conversion with new rear coil springs to replace my stock shocks.
Hi Mike, The ZW7 suspension consist of a Nivomat shock absorber that has self leveling features (used more for towing). If you are looking for an alternative, the kit you are viewing is the way to go. With passive air shocks you are able to adjust the softness/harness of the air ride to maintain a quality ride. These shocks can be manually filled and are standard fitment for your vehicle. Because your parts are non-electronic you will not need to use the bypass resistors for your ECU. If you have further questions please reach out to us, we are happy to help. -Stephanie
I have a 2001 yukon denali it sit low in the back when I have kids in the back it hit hard on bumps seems as if the back of the truck are hitting the tires or something
Hi Gabi, This kit will be a non-electronic suspension for you. The benefit with this kit is you can manually fill these rear parts or hook them up to your compressor. It will keep a smooth air ride and will keep your vehicle at a safe ride height for you and the kids! Please let us know if you need anything else, we hope you have a good day. -Stephanie
I ordered 150g-14-4 shocks how do I manually fill them there is no schrader valve on them ?
I saw the same question posted but could not find the answer. How can I manually fill the rear shocks to the level I want and how much air pressure should I fill to?
You can use a Schraeder valve to fill the parts, and we typically recommend no higher than 80 PSI. I hope this helps! -Roy
